Since the beginning of last year, Mary Watson and the Labour team have knocked on nearly 3,000 doors in the Whalley Range and Chorlton area and managed to speak to over a thousand people, taking up their local concerns. Trefor and Janet Jones from Wyverne Road spoke to Mary about badly needed repairs for the pavement and was pleased to see the work completed very shortly afterwards.
Mary adds “I’m sorry that we haven’t been able to speak to everyone yet. But if anyone needs to get in touch with me, Aftab or Angeliki, we are always available – they’ll find our contact and surgery details on the Councillors page”.
