The postal votes for the 2016 local elections have now been issued. If you’re a postal voter, you don’t have to wait until election day – in fact it’s best to complete and return the voting pack as soon as possible, so that you are sure not to forget. Just follow the instructions carefully, and post the sealed envelope in your nearest post box – you don’t need a stamp.
Why not do it now? It’s too late to register for a postal vote to use in this election, but there’s still time to do it before the Referendum on EU membership to be held on 23rd June. You can find the necessary information on the Council website here.
