Whalley Range Labour - Claremont Road Alleyway Art - Moss Side

Claremont Road Moss Side Alleyway Art

Part of the Claremont Road alleyway is being transformed into a beautiful community space thanks to the amazing efforts of the Bowes Street Residents Association, Beresford Street residents, and In Our Nature.

Cllr Angeliki Stogia joined these incredible residents who have come together to clean up, plant flowers, and create artwork that’s brought a whole new life to the alleyway. It’s a perfect example of what can be achieved when a community works together.

Cllr Angeliki Stogia said: “This alleyway is more than just a place for bins. It is becoming a space for everyone to enjoy. Seeing so many neighbours come together across the ward to spruce up their allewyay and their own support network is truly inspiring. I am proud to support our local groups to create brighter, safer, and more welcoming spaces. Together, we can tackle issues like fly-tipping and anti-social behaviour.”
