The local elections in Manchester this year are on Thursday 2nd May, and the polls are open from 7am to 10pm. If you may be away that day, or otherwise find it difficult to get to a polling station, why not register for a postal vote? But you need to be quick – the deadline is 5pm this Monday (15th April).
The Labour Party has prepared a simple online wizard to help you apply – you can find it here.

You can still register for a postal vote – but hurry!
